Biography
Min. Raymond Rolle is a native of Farmers Hill Exuma and a graduate of Exuma Senior High School. After graduating from High School in 1983, he relocated to New Providence in pursuit of a tertiary education at the College of the Bahamas where he obtained a degree in Electrical Installation and Power System. He then went on to obtain his Single-Phase Electrical License from the Ministry of Works enabling him to practice as a licensed electrician.
In 1991 Min. Rolle took another path and was employed with Purity Bakery Ltd as a Production Supervisor Trainee. In the same year he obtained a diploma in the Science of Baking and Technology from the American Institute of Baking located in Manhattan, Kansas Missouri, USA. During his employment with Purity Bakery Ltd. Min. Raymond held the positions of Production Supervisor, Production and Operations Manager.
In pursuit of his passion to teach and preach the word of God, in 2007 he attended Christian Life school of Theology with affiliation to Beacon University, Columbus Georgia where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Theology Magna Cum Laude.
Observing his love for ministry, Min Raymond served his local church Salem Union Baptist Church as Youth President, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Director, Assist. Director of Evangelism & Outreach Ministry, and Director of Men’s Ministry. Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. C. W. Saunders in 2008 Min. Raymond was licensed as a Minister of Salem Union Baptist Church to preach the good news of the Gospel.
In 2009 to 2015, he served as the Youth President of the Bahamas Baptist Union where he focused on the growth and development of young people through seminars, conferences, and outreach initiatives. Min. Raymond currently serves as Executive Secretary, and Director of Evangelism of the Bahamas Baptist Union and President of the New Providence District. He currently serves as an Associate Minister of St. Matthews Union Baptist Church, Palm Tree Avenue, Nassau.
He enjoys a wonderful life with his wife of 29 years Linda M. Rolle and they are the proud parents of three children: Dr. Rameka Rolle, Raymond Rolle and Rashon Rolle.
Most importantly, Min. Raymond has responded to the call of Christian Ministry and is determined to preach the life changing gospel to bring lost souls into the kingdom of God.
